How to select the proper sealing form for titanium reactor

1. Clarify the basis for sealing selection: first, the working pressure in the kettle, and second, the nature of working materials. Another is the working temperature of titanium reactor.
2. Clarify the types of seals used in titanium reaction kettle: the seals used in titanium reaction kettle are commonly referred to as shaft seals, one is packing seal, the other is mechanical seal. The mechanical seal is divided into single seal (single end mechanical seal) and double seal (double end mechanical seal). The full set of single seal also includes water jacket, while the double seal is more complex. In addition to the water jacket (with circulating cooling water), it also includes supporting support, balance tank, etc.
3. How to select the appropriate seal: under the conditions of normal temperature and pressure, materials are neither volatile nor flammable and explosive, packing seals should be selected; When the pressure is less than 4 kg, and the materials are volatile, flammable and explosive, it is necessary to select a single seal; When the working pressure is over 4 kg (but less than 10 kg) and the materials are highly volatile, flammable and explosive, double mechanical seals should be selected.
4. Advantages and disadvantages of various seals: packing seals are very cheap, but only suitable for very common use conditions and materials; The price of single package is moderate, and it can be used under most conditions; The double seal is very expensive, but it should be used under harsh working conditions.
5. It is very important to use it according to your specific conditions: if you choose double machine seals when you can use packing seals or single machine seals, it will cause unnecessary waste in price; If the packing seal or single seal is selected when the double seal is to be selected, it will leave serious worries for the future production safety and economic benefits.
