1. One end of the tube plate at both ends of the equipment is not connected with the shell, which is called floating head. When the tube is heated, the tube bundle and floating head can expand and contract freely along the axial direction. To solve the temperature difference stress. A temperature difference compensation device is required. Generally, when the temperature difference between tube wall and shell wall is above 50 ℃, titanium heat exchanger shall be equipped with temperature difference compensation device. However, the compensation device (expansion joint) can only be used when the temperature difference between shell wall and pipe wall is lower than 60~70 ℃ and the fluid pressure at shell side is not high. Generally, when the shell side pressure is greater than 0.6Mpa, it is difficult to stretch because the compensation ring is too thick, and the temperature difference compensation function is lost, so other structures should be considered.
2. The tube plates at both ends of the equipment are integrated with the shell. When the temperature difference between the two fluids is large, a compensation ring or expansion joint shall be welded at an appropriate position of the shell. When the thermal expansion of shell and tube bundle is different, the compensation ring will undergo slow elastic deformation to compensate the thermal expansion caused by temperature difference stress.
3. Each tube of the titanium heat exchanger is bent into a U-shape, and the inlet and outlet of the fluid are respectively installed on both sides of the same end. The head is divided into two chambers by a partition plate, and each tube can expand and contract freely to solve the problem of thermal compensation.
